Organized in 1956, Tuesday Book Review of Kankakee County is a well-established luncheon and discussion group of Kankakee County folks who are interested in good books and great reads.
Following the COVID debacle, we’re back with about 80 members. We meet monthly October through December and March through May. Our members are primarily retired educators with some other retirees thrown in for excitement. We gather for lunch, share a book give-a-way and invite our speakers to share with us their writing adventures. Occasionally, we engage a guest to bring a dramatic presentation of a historical figure.
